Snapshot of Your Day
Supports the technical project manager in operations during
project delivery, which includes creating and managing sales orders in the SAP
system, applying/managing payments, invoicing and receivables reporting,
setting up and extending foreign exchange hedging transactions, as well as
managing and reporting guarantees.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Monitors,
controls, and updates project-related costs, payments, and invoices, as
well as overseeing material and logistics aspects. - Corrects
and monitors all specific aspects of a project or order over time.
Cooperates and communicates closely with the project manager and project
team throughout execution. - Verifies
and recalculates planned project costs, allocating them accordingly. Compare
the current vs. planned budget situation and analyze the effects and
agreed measures. - Conducts
monthly monitoring of projects and contracts, being responsible for
reporting through Ongoing Calculation files and cost allocation. Tracks
contracts, local legislation, and contractual correspondence. - Responsible
for preparing project reviews for commercial aspects and supporting
project reporting, including project closure in SAP. - Supports
month-end closing and forecasting activities by completing necessary
financial tasks, preparing reports, and assisting in risk and internal
control (RIC) testing during internal audit periods
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance,
economics, or related field - Strong knowledge in financial controlling and
management accounting. - Proven experience in working within comparable
functions, specifically Finance / Controlling, Commercial Project
management. (3-5 years) - Advanced user skills in SAP and MS Office.
Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g. tableau) are a plus - Excellent verbal and written communication
skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work effectively within an international team, demonstrating
flexibility and adaptability. - Excellent English skills, both written and
spoken
