A Snapshot of Your Day
As a UK IT
Finance Intern you will be joining a team that is responsible for all
Accounting and Controlling aspects for the global SE IT team. You will have a
key role in month end activities including, accruals, provisions,
reconciliations, vendor consumption files and audit support. You will be
involved in driving process improvements and digitalization. The 12 to 13 month
placement will cover multiple financial aspects as well as providing you the
ability to learn and improve skills to further your career development.
The team are
currently located near Bournemouth, therefore it would be desirable if you
lived within a commutable distance to this area. Please note this is a hybrid role and you will be required to work from the Bournemouth office on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
How You’ll
Make an Impact
- Financial Reporting of the global SE IT on a monthly basis to tight
deadlines. - Preparing journals for SE legal entities.
- Supporting the SE IT accounting technical update by preparing the
powerpoint and organising the meeting for the community. - Performing, evidencing and documenting internal controls.
- Supporting the preparation of management
reports. - Reconciliations of SAP and vendor consumption
data - Ad hoc reporting.
- Maintain and add to task list of the role to
ensure processes are documented and to ensure smooth handover. - Department process documentation
- To utilise digital tools to help drive efficiency, productivity and
cost reduction. - To simplify processes where it makes sense.

showing a passion for finance. - Currently studying and looking for a year in industry placement as part of the degree course.

The Digital
Core Functional Controlling team sits in the Accounting and Controlling –
Financial Planning and Analysis department – its aim is here to support the
Digi functions with controlling activities and providing them and its customers
transparency.
