Location: South Manchester
Salary: £150 – £250 per day. Dependent on experience.
Contract Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Temporary with the potential to become permanent
Start Date: Immediately
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing up to 8 children in an alternative provision setting. You must be able to teach Maths, English, Science, PE and general subjects up to KS3 level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching with SEN pupils.
- Strong passion for teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
