    The Company

    My client is one of the largest and fastest-growing survey companies in the UK. With offices throughout the UK, they deliver projects on time and on budget for all sizes of customers within the construction and civil engineering sectors. They offer a full range of innovative topographical, underground utility (PAS128), measured building, hydrographic, rail, engineering and geographic survey solutions across a broad range of sectors in the UK and abroad.

    The Utility Surveyor Role

    They currently have an opportunity for a Utility Surveyor, with the willingness to combine hybrid working with travel to projects / schemes of work, primarily covering the M1 Corridor from the Midlands down to London and the surrounding Home Counties and East Anglia.

    The Utility Surveyor will primarily be carrying out PAS128 surveys on a wide variety of rail and road related projects. Tracing and recording buried utilities using utility survey techniques such as GPR and using Total Stations and GNSS. Then liaising with clients and staff at all levels within the business.

    The Successful Utility Surveyor

    Previous experienceand fully competent using EML / GPR equipment

    Previous experience working as a Utility Surveyor and locating utility plant

    Able to read and understand drawings

    You should be fully proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD (desirable)

    A willingness to travel to site, work from the office, and home

    • Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
    • Effective communication skills and good time keeping.
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • CSCS card.
