Born Ambre Zamor in French Guiana, Bamby’s artistic journey began in 2016 with the support of her childhood friend Jahyanai, a composer who soon became her producer. In the years since, her career has flourished impressively, with over 40 million global streams on Spotify and more than 10 million views on YouTube, Bamby has firmly established herself in the digital music landscape. Her collaborations with notable artists including Jahyanai, Natoxie, Kima, and Gims have further solidified her reputation in the industry, releasing hits that include ‘Who Mad again’ and ‘Run di Place’.

For the artist, Afro House is a very powerful and fashionable music. She recalls how it reminds her of Amapiano. Bamby explains that when they made her listen to this remix she loved it. The artist describes her music as full of energy . “You can feel that I sing from my heart. I have lot of influences and genres. In fact, I can’t even describe myself through one genre and I can’t be put in a box. I like to surprise and try out different flows and things”.

On collaborating with The FaNaTiX, the artist sings their praises. Making a point of noting their “creative genuis”, the artist feels they give her the strength to exceed and try new vibes when she is around them. A sense of having no boundaries or obstacles, offering a sense of invincibility. This being said, the artist highlights how pain and joy are both within themselves and inspiration for her music. The bad and the good moments are moments of inspiration for me, everything is a muse for me. Because nothing is predictable, life is so complex that every moment deserves a song”.

Bamby opens up about having had to work through a lot of obstacles put in her way. Her art is her own, so no one can beat it. That is my strength, she emphasizes. Seeking to move forward and produce because it’s her whole life! “I will always be the master of my art, and that’s priceless!”

When it comes to social media, social networks are means of expression and promotion for the artist. “I make myself scarce, but I like my posts to have an impact. I love art and freedom of expression, so I do what I want through my different accounts. When I have to, I promote my songs and display a certain self-confidence that I hope can positively influences those who follow me”.

Bamby points out how numbers and data determine the success of a piece of music, so all you have to do is surround yourself with people who are made to create good music according to your vision, by surrounding yourself with good music producers. Above all, believe in your art and the rest will follow.

“Don’t get lost between who you are and who people want you to be. Stay focused on what makes you thrive. Success is not an end in itself, but finding yourself is absolute bliss, because it will make everything else follow”.

Bamby opens up about her biggest challenges to date. Most notable is the art of staying patient, remaining calm and cool. To stay positive when facing complicated situations and behaviors. People can be tough and sometimes abject in the environment in which I evolve. Patience and self-control always pay off.
