The IET has two flagship schemes which provide financial support to students and apprentices available, with up to £1,000 to help support you in your studies.
The Diamond Jubilee scholarships provide at least £1,000 per year for students about to start an IET accredited undergraduate degree at a UK university, for the duration of their course. They are awarded to students achieving great academic results, and importantly who have a real passion for engineering
The Engineering Horizons bursaries provide £1,000 per year for students either about to start or already enrolled on an IET accredited undergraduate degree in the UK, for the duration of their course, OR, apprentices about to start or already on an IET approved apprenticeship scheme in the UK, for the duration of their scheme. They are awarded to individuals who are taking a more vocational route into engineering, are in need of financial assistance, or who may face (or have faced) challenges or personal obstacles.
