We always think about paying our bills and rent, our education and small pleasures.
For me, impulsive buying was always kind of wrong. Of course, I will treat myself from time to time because I like to reward myself after I complete something that was very exhausting and overwhelming.
So, why I save and budget money?
Primarily, I save money because it gives me a greater sense of material safety and control. With saving money, I can also predict how much it takes for me to achieve some material accomplishments.
Secondly, whenever I receive my paycheck I immediately pay my rent and bills. Then, I put aside a certain amount of money and with the money that is left, I go to grocery shopping and sometimes afford myself a book or something similar. If there is any money left at the end of the money, I also put it aside.
Lastly, I save and budget my money because I can always have a certain amount of money if something negative happens so I can have time and resources to, for example, find a new job.
