Shifts: Monday to Friday between am starts Rates of pay:

• Basic: £14.52

Day-to-day duties: As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, handball required)

• Operating and driving 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly

• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations

• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers

• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required

Essential skills: To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C1 licence

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience driving C1 vehicles

• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes

• A valid UK CPC card and Digi card

• Good spoken and written English

• Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills

• A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations

• Effective communication skills

Desirable experience:

• Previous commercial driving experience

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Training:

• support offered throughout the assigment
