Job Title: Accounts AssistantJob Type: 6 month Fixed term contractSalary: £28-32,000Location: Bromsgrove We have the opportunity for an accounts assistant to join an established organization for a fixed term contract. The reason for this fixed term contract is to focus on the reduction of aged debt and reduce the outstanding balance across company ledgers so experience within credit control or sales ledger is vital for this position. You will be part of finance team which can provide training and warm welcome with an excellent culture and company values. If you are based South Birmingham this role is accesible by public transport, there is free onsite pakring also. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post cash and reconcile client accounts dealing with any queries in a timely manner
- Ensure payments to clients are on time with complete reconciliations of their account
- Run reports such as aged debt and escalate where required to keep debt to a minimum
- Ensure accounts relating to credit facilities such as close brothers are up to date and any queries resolved
- Work with the sales teams to keep up to date with changes to products or commission rates so that they do not affect the payments received or paid out
- Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all areas of the business to maximise effective communication and ways of working
