    You’ll be working for a large public sector organisation, who provide services across the Lancashire area. The company is searching for an experienced Office Administrator to join their growing team. This role will involve directly supporting colleagues and directors within the office and working as part of a team. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. However, the potential for flexible working hours may be offered to the right candidate.

    Your new role

    This is a widely varied position that requires support in different areas of the business. As Office Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking inbound calls and passing messages on to relevant departments.
  • Completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Managing and arranging meetings.
  • Using a variety of different software systems to a high standard.
  • Efficiently filing and record keeping.
  • Ensuring you follow the department’s processes and procedures whilst guaranteeing all information is correct.
  • Working alongside other team members to ensure all administration work is completed efficiently and within an allocated time frame.
  • What you’ll need to succeed

    To be successful in securing this position, you should have strong administration skills, an exceptional telephone manner, excellent in Microsoft packages, including excel and a great desire to help others. Alongside this, the successful candidate must demonstrate high levels of accuracy, be self-motivated and illustrate your own initiative.A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role is essential.

    In return, you will have the opportunity to join a large, well-known organisation. You will receive weekly pay at an hourly rate between £12.00-£14.00. This role is a temporary position for a period of 3 months initially. There will be an opportunity for this to be extended or even made permanent dependent on performance and business needs.
