- Observing and analyzing the market, competitors
and customers - Determining and ensuring the quality of market
data and trends - Maintaining the sales database up to date
(Salesforce responsibility – Qualitative/Quantitative) - Communicating market demands to team in Head
Quarters. - Drawing up marketing concepts, business plans
and strategies - Market launch for relevant portfolio
- Responsible for updating the market data in MI
tool. - Prepare customer acquisition and presentations.
- Definition of project setup and winning
strategy. - Contribute to the unit order intake and gross
profit targets. - Ensure that your work is in line with the QA
procedures, statutory, regulatory and EHS requirements. - Abide by and comply with the Siemens Compliance
and Business Conduct Guidelines. - Always work and act as team player and constant
sense of mutual support
Pre-acquisition
- Identifying business opportunities and sales
channels - Identifying potential customers, understanding
their order placement strategies and their decision makers and decision-making
processes - Preparation of feasibility studies as the basis
for Go/No Go decisions. - Determining the market price or the budget
price for specific bids/projects - Preparation of pre-qualification documents
Acquisition (new business)
- Bid/No Bid documentation and decision together
with the tendering management. - Prepare customers and market strategy for the
market in Iraq - Define and implement project winning strategies
- Determining the target price for specific
bids/projects. - Supporting and coordinating technical
clarification of the bid together with tendering management until placement of
the order. - Coordinate contract negotiations up to signing
of the order - Preparation of stake holder analysis.
- Prepare Win loss analysis with support of
tendering management. - Support / advice the tendering department
during the complete offer preparation phase.
What you bring?
- Do you have 3-7 years of
experience as Sales Manager in Iraq and have well established contacts base
especially within Ministry of Electricity (MoE) and Ministry of Oil (MoO) as
well as related business partners? - At least 3 years of experience in Sales and
Business Development of High Voltage Products, Substations & Services and a
proven track record of overachieving targets - Preferred to have an Engineering degree
(Electrical) - Experience in functional management of teams
& stakeholders management
