ASB Enforcement Officer (Social Housing) – Temp until April 2025
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Enforcement Officer on behalf of our client who is a well-established housing association in Merseyside, on a long-term temporary assignment until April 2025.
This is a hybrid role, working 37 hours per week.
Your new role
- Managing a caseload of serious & complex ASB, Domestic Violence and other tenancy breaches
- Carrying out investigations, gathering witness statements and evidence, preparing legal casework for court proceedings
- Serving notices, attending evictions and representing the organisation in court where required to present evidence
- Offering additional support, advice and guidance to Neighbourhood teams for lower-level cases of ASB and nuisance
- Developing and maintaining strong links with external partners/agencies within the community
- Working in partnership with key stakeholders, colleagues and external agencies such as Police, Solicitors, Local Authority and Social Services
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum 12 months in an ASB Enforcement role within a Social Housing environment
- Experience of managing a caseload of ASB/Tenancy breach cases including Domestic Violence and Hate Crime
- Ability to draft witness statements and prepare legal casework, with experience of presenting evidence in court
- Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legal frameworks, legislation and best practice in the field
