Q – Are you a psychology graduate looking to support people with a variety of SEND and SEMH needs in order to pursue a career in Physiology?
A supportive and inclusive SEN unit within a Post-16 College in Ealing are seeking an Aspiring Physiologist – Learning Support Assistant
to work with students with severe needs including physical disabilities, behavioural challenges, and more. Whilst extensive SEND experience is desirable but not required, a strong knowledge and understanding of SEND and SEMH is necessary.
This College enables students with SEND requiring additional support to prepare for the next step of their lives, preparing students to become as independent as possible. All pupils are encouraged to develop life skills through IEPs and EHCPs whilst also getting a fantastic education. There are also opportunities for all students to participate in social and vocational programmes. You will be working alongside healthcare professionals and specialists including Occupational Therapists and experienced Learning Support Assistants.
As an Aspiring Physiologist – Learning Support Assistant,
you will have the opportunity to support students with a variety of severe learning and physical additional needs on a daily basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for psychology graduates looking to utilise their theoretical skills and put them into practice, in order to pursue a role in Physiology.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Aspiring Physiologist – Learning Support Assistant
- Working with students aged 16 years and over with severe SEND/SEMH needs
- Supporting students with their learning and the development of life skills alongside experienced professionals
- Managing behaviour and developing valuable field-based experience
ROLE DETAILS
- Long-Term, Full-Time role
- Based in the Borough of Ealing
- Monday – Friday only
- 30am – 4pm
- ASAP Start
