N1 Golf Venues
N1GOLF Venues started as a golf academy business and became the largest Golf Academy in the UK. We pride ourselves on providing a first class family venue with our fundamental principle being “Golf for Everyone” along with a learning experience for golfers of all abilities within our Academies.Over the years this has moved into ownership of venues, running 4 golf driving ranges/courses throughout the UK & 3 Adventure Golf Centres. There’s also a portfolio of properties to look after which are owned by the managing director.
In total the finance/admin team look after 13 Limited Companies and various rental properties both in the Uk and Overseas
This is a very varied role which will include mostly finance based work so knowledge of accounts packages is essential.
Reporting to the Office Manager, Managing Director & Director of finance
Job Duties:
- Inputting of supplier invoices and looking after the purchase ledger account
- Assisting in looking after after the property accounts and coordinating with the property manager (pete)
- Vat Returns for all sites
- Ensuring Intercompany accounts reconcile each month
- Assisting with some bank reconciliations
- Assisting with foreign currency accounts.
- Assisting with Final Trial balance for year end accounts before sending to accountants.
- Dealing with HMRC on company matters
- Assisting with month end balance sheet Reports
Essential
- ICB or AAT experience to at least level 2 level 3 preferred,
- At least 3 years experience working in a fast paced environment, with deadlines
- At latest 3 years experience working with Quickbooks Online
- Can do attitude
- Team player. Although we work independently our ethos is to look after the team and businesses as a whole.
- Must be able to deal with potentially stressful situations.
