As our Assistant Meetings & Events Sales and Planning Manager you will receive:
- Salary: £42,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting M&E Sales and Planning Manager with reporting, M&E diary management, budget management and Ad Hoc projects when required.
- Training and supporting junior team members to ensure they are confident in their role and department runs smoothly.
- Responding to all M&E enquiries in timely manner and converting them into confirmed bookings.
- Generating quotes based on guidelines provided by Revenue & Pricing Manager and sending it out to potential clients.
- Using negotiating skills, strong judgement, and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts as well as upsell where possible to ensure M&E targets and budgets are achieved.
- Conducting client show arounds, including VIP visits and menu tastings when applicable.
- Issuing contracts and deposit requests for confirmed business.
- Maintaining strong client relationships to ensure smooth event planning process for the client and return business. Always going extra mile to accommodate client’s needs.
- Working closely with M&E operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Producing clear and accurate BEOs, attending weekly BEO meetings, handing over to the team in charge on the day.
- Staying for the first couple of hours on the day of the event might be required for large scale events.
