We’re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our North West business based out of Liverpool

: Liverpool / Cheshire
Hours
: 40 hours per week , can consider some flexibility on hours if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be working closely with the Senior Project Quantity Surveyor on a community project in Chester valued circa £15m
Your day to day may include:
- Assisting the Q.S / SQS in advising on financial feasibility of projects at early stages
- With the oversight of the Q.S / SQS, organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement.
- Assessing returns from sub-contractors.
- Managing applications for payment from sub contractors
- Carrying out on site measurements
Undertaking commercial admin to support the senior commercial team as required
What are we looking for?
This role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying
- Post graduation experience working within the main contractor environment
- Knowledge of NEC / JCT Contracts
- Comfort in dealing with client reps, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders
- Full UK Driving License
