    The Bid Manager for Integrally Geared Compressor Packages
    (IGC) Asia Pacific (f/m/d) will be responsible for leading the global cross
    functional bid team in the development of winning proposals for turbo
    compressor packages. The successful candidate will ensure that the proposals
    are technically correct, delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest
    quality standards. Additionally, the candidate will support the regional Head
    of Bid Management IGC AP to manage the internal network with Product Management
    and Strategy. This role reports into Head of Bid Management AP for Integrally
    Geared Compression.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • You ensure that proposals
      are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
      standards.
    • As Bid Manager you will be
      responsible for tender preparation, tender coordination, and tender
      tracking of (sophisticated) turbo compressor projects for our
      international customers in the air separation, oil & gas, metallurgy,
      and chemical industry.
    • You will analyze customer
      requirements and translate them into a competitive offer with the
      involvement of an interdisciplinary team of engineers and businesspeople.
    • You design turbo
      compressors with the aid of technical calculation programs.
    • You check the technical
      feasibility of the machine concepts you develop and identify project risks
      or opportunities.
    • You determine the costs
      and the associated delivery time for the scope of delivery you have
      planned.
    • You continuously monitor
      the project status and independently ensure target-oriented and complete
      communication within the project team and the cooperating specialist
      departments.
    • You conduct project
      negotiations together with the sales team at home and abroad and represent
      your quotation to the customer.
    • You will also be
      responsible for handing over the order to the project management and the
      engineering departments in charge.
    • You drive the conceptual
      solution development, including project screening, to develop unique
      selling propositions for all opportunities the business proposes.
    • You manage the internal
      network with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing,
      Procurement, etc.

    What You Bring

    • Degree or equivalent
      experience in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years’
      experience in the energy industry preferably with turbo machines.
    • Experience in the
      development of winning proposals for integrally geared compression
      projects in the low specifications as well as high specification market.
    • Deep product knowledge of
      integrally geared compressors is of advantage.
    • Strong team building
      skills.
    • Excellent communication
      and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under
      pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated success in
      managing sophisticated global customer base.
    • Global cultural
      sensitivity while working with a diverse team.
    • High collaboration skills
      and ability to work effectively in an international network.
