    Bookkeeper required for this Whitchurch based business-100% OFFICE BASED

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales Ledger – Raising ad-hoc Customer invoices/credit notes.
    • Purchase Ledger – processing supplier invoices, payments, and monthly statement reconciliations.
    • Bank Reconciliation – Ensure all transactions are processed daily and appropriately reconciled weekly.
    • Review and maintain accurate Record Management.
    • Prepare accounts to trial balance stage.
    • Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts.
    • Administration of electronic and manual bank records/mandates as required.
    • VAT Return preparation.
    • Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
    • Credit Card reconciliation and control.
    • Inter Company reconciliation and control.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.
    • Payroll experience preferred but not essential.
    • Work efficiently with good time management.
    • Ability to work on your own initiative, although also as part of a team.
    • Experience of using SAGE would be desirable.
