In these roles, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing expert tax advice and guidance to clients. From advising on complex corporate tax structures to optimising private client tax affairs, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and driving client success.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of tax matters, including Corporate Tax, Private Client Tax, Indirect Tax, M&A/Deals Tax, and R&D Services.
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored tax strategies that align with their objectives.
- Support clients in navigating tax considerations during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Assist with the preparation and review of tax compliance filings and reports.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster growth and development.
Requirements:
- A strong background in tax having worked in either Practice or in-house tax teams with experience within a specific tax discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of Scottish tax legislation and regulations.
- Experience working with clients in the Deals, Private Equity, and Corporate Finance sectors is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Professional qualifications such as CTA or equivalent are desirable.
