Your Role as a Class 1 HGV Driver
As a Class 1 HGV Driver , you will handle bulk deliveries and collections between DPD sites and customer locations nationwide. Your responsibilities will include:
Driving a modern, well-maintained fleet on HGV-friendly routes
Performing trailer swaps or live unloading/reloading depending on customer needs
Conducting pre-trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance
Adhering to all road safety regulations and maintaining journey logs
What You Need to Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid UK Class 1 HGV Licence (minimum 12 months’ experience required )
A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
A professional, customer-focused approach
The ability to work one of the following shift patterns:
Tuesday – Saturday Start Window: 14:00 – 19:30
Saturday – Wednesday Start Window: 00:00 – 03:30
