Class 1 Trunk Driver

    Our Class 1 Trunk Drivers work as part of a busy transport team responsible for the movement and unloading of healthcare waste between our Transfer Stations and Processing Plants. You’ll act as a key point of contact with our internal customers, completing all associated paperwork and relevant documentation via a hand-held terminal.

    Salary: £37,300 = £14.50ph + Additional Over Night Allowance

    Hours: 48hrs – Working Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun (Days shift)

    Over night stays and flexibility required

    Preferably with ADR, however, ADR training can be provided!

    Requirements:
    Relevant driving experience and Class 1 License (with C+E entitlement), as well as a Full Driver CPC and Digi Card, preferably linked to an ADR certificate – packages 6.1/ 6.2
    The ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work, involving the safe movement of large, wheeled units on and off vehicles
    Excellent customer service skills and the confidence to interact at all levels, along with plenty of flexibility around working hours and a willingness to go that ‘extra mile’
