Commercial Property Lawyer

Service Care Legal are working with a Central London Local Authority seeks a qualified (part-time) Property Lawyer with the Property Team on a 3-month interim basis. ROLE: Commercial Property Lawyer LOCATION: Central London / hybridCONTRACT: 3 Month Contract 3 Days per Week RATE: £40.10ph LTD / £35.93ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £32.06ph PAYE exc. holiday payPlease note that this role offers flexible working arrangements.The Role

• Provide timely legal advice on routine property law matters to Council departments.
• Matters include low value leases and transactional licens work
• Support senior lawyers and contribute to an efficient, client-focused legal service.
• Use the case management system, record time, meet targets, instruct Counsel/external solicitors where required, and attend relevant meetings.

Person Specification

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent).
• Experience handling property law matters independently.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Public sector experience desirable but not essential.
