The Executive Office is seeking to appoint a Commissioner for Victims and Survivors who is vital in promoting the interests of victims and survivors and giving them a strong independent voice.
The Commissioner for Victims and Survivors is a full time post and will be based at Equality House, 7-9 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DP. The remuneration for the Commissioner will be in line with the Northern Ireland Civil Service Senior Civil Service (SCS) (Pay Band 1 equivalent and within the range of £79,237 to £88,908 per annum).
This is a unique role in which the Commissioner will be able to contribute to the development of policies which address the longer-term needs of those who have suffered as a result of the troubles/ conflict here. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about improving the lives of victims and survivors.
