    In the role of a Compliance Officer at Siemens Energy, you will handle compliance inquiries and offer essential guidance. Your proactive approach to risk management will protect against legal infractions, and your thorough training programs will enhance our culture of compliance. You will report any suspected misconduct, provide valuable advice during management meetings, and consistently advise business sectors of the compliance system’s developments.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Manage a wide range of compliance requests and issues, serving as a trusted advisor for management and employees across varied business areas and sub-regions. 
    • Proactively anticipate and control compliance risks, implementing effective measures to prevent legal violations, particularly in anti-trust and anti-corruption law. 
    • Deliver regular and thorough compliance training sessions, both remotely and in-person, tailored to suit different business areas and sub-regions. 
    • Promptly report allegations of misconduct and pending investigations to relevant compliance departments and heads. 
    • Actively participate in business meetings, offering advice on effective business conduct to raise compliance awareness across the organization. 
    • Engage in global compliance activities across various countries in Europe and Central Asia, while regularly updating business areas on the status of the Compliance System. 

    What You Bring

    • A university degree in the field of business administration, law, or a related field, or an equivalent educational background.
    • At least 5 years
       of the relevant professional experience in the area of compliance including Data Privacy, AML or Export Control/Trade Compliance
      , or have gained practical experiences in areas of audit, internal controls or similar.
    • Experiences in performing compliance risk analysis as well as compliance guidelines.
    • You act in a goal-orientated manner even on sensitive topics across all hierarchies’ levels and are able to handle sensitive topics.
    • You can work independently and prioritize demanding tasks, and you are a team player.
    • You are fluent in English, spoken and written (German language is an advantage).
    • With integrity as your top priority, you possess strong communication and presentation skills and demonstrate cultural sensitivity when interacting with international stakeholders.

    About the Team

    At Siemens Energy, our team is a key component of the global Compliance Team, with specific focus on Gas Services, Grid Technologies, and Transformation of Industry. While our main operations are in Germany, we provide extensive support to these business areas on all matters, processes, and tools pertaining to Compliance.
