Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and qualified computer science teacher to join an enthusiastic and nurturing team on a temporary basis. This role will take the successful candidate through to the end of the year. This is a well established school in the Portsmouth area where they provide education for students, not just for academic progress but to help develop them into self-reflective learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A current DBS check registered on the update service, or willingness to undergo a new DBS check
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students
