    Flooring Contracts Manager with a minimum of 3 years experience

They provide high-end flooring for multi-million-pound properties to suitable flooring for Housing Association schemes. The size of contracts undertaken varies from smaller projects to a £3.8 million contract in 2017 to various phased developments exceeding £5 million. Our client base includes major house builders such as Berkeley Homes, St George, Barratt London, Redrow homes and London Square
    Your new role

    The Contracts Manager will manage multiple flooring projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards. This role involves close coordination with clients, suppliers and fitters to manage labour arrangements, materials and project documentation. Key responsibilities include pricing and measurement for tender projects, updating project documents and addressing post-completion customer care issues. Ideally, the right candidate will be confident, hardworking and a team player as you will be working closely within a small team in our office.
    What you’ll need to succeed

    3+ years in a Contracts Manager role, preferably within the flooring or construction industry. – Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, project specifications and tender documents. – Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. – Ability to conduct measurements and estimate materials accurately. – Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. – Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in client-facing roles. – Strong problem-solving ability, particularly in managing on-site issues and client concerns. – Ability to work collaboratively with clients, fitters and internal teams to achieve project goals. – Driving licence is required for site visits and as our office location has no reliable public transport links.
