Customer Service Advisor – Port Talbot – Permanent

Your new company is a highly reputable company based in the heart of Port Talbot. My client is a manufacturing firm who are seeking an experienced Customer Service individual to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Your new role as a Customer Support Advisor is a varied role. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Being the first point of contact for any customer queries
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Liaising with other internal departments to execute orders
- Processing orders onto the system
- Ensure that all customer claims and complaints are resolved effectively, accurately and timely
- Monitor and track lead times, order and production status and keep customers updated
- Provide status updates when requested
- Building quotations to send out to customers
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be experienced in customer support within a manufacturing environment. You will be IT literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Package. Further to this, you will be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing. You will be detail orientated with the ability to work to a high accuracy. The successful candidate will also possess great time management and organisational skills. Previous experience using SAP is also desirable.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £24,000 – £26,000. The organisation offers a generous holiday allowance and pension scheme. Further to this, the organisation has free parking on site. You will be joining a well established team within a welcoming organisation.
