    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As a Data Engineer with a focus on SCM, you will participate
    in elevating the current reporting landscape, making it the go-to source for
    procurement-related information. This role involves working in a dynamic environment.
    You’ll collaborate closely with business partners to analyze, design, and
    develop procurement reporting requirements.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Analyze
      data to ensure accurate representation of business requirements and
      targets.
    • Collaborate
      closely with the Procurement department and external providers, working in
      an agile environment.
    • Develop
      and maintain data architecture and data governance standards and
      guidelines.
    • Design
      streamlined and optimized data architecture frameworks aligned with the
      organization’s data strategy and business needs.
    • Provide
      guidance and support to developers and other partners on data architecture
      frameworks and standard processes.
    • Ensure
      the quality of concepts and implementations together with our external
      service providers
    • Work
      with various functions to clarify user requirements and translate them
      into technical specifications.
    • Partner
      with multi-functional teams to ensure data integration and availability
      throughout the organization.
    • Engage
      with business partners to identify data requirements and develop data
      models.
    • Implement
      systems to monitor and rectify data quality issues
    • Adhere
      to and align data security policies and procedures with the Cyber Security
      team to ensure data security and privacy
    • Create
      comprehensive documentation, including technical diagrams and workflows,
      as well as management-level summaries.

    What You Bring

    • A
      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
      related field or equivalent experience is required.
    • Minimum
      of 5 years in data analytics and development.
    • Proficient
      in data modeling and data management principles.
    • Proficient
      in database management systems, data warehousing (preferably Snowflake),
      and ETL processes.
    • SAP
      background with a focus on SAP Analytics projects in the realm of Procurement or Sales
    • In-depth
      knowledge of SQL, including dynamic stored procedures.
    • Understanding
      of data governance, data quality, and data security standard processes.
    • Experience
      with cloud-based data architecture solutions (AWS, UI tools) and BI tools
      (Qlik, Power BI).
    • Proficiency
      in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus. International
      working experience is preferred.
