    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As “Digital Solutions Implementation Lead – Cost Value Engineering”, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation within the Cost and Value Engineering (CVE) function in Procurement. Your responsibilities will span across various projects and initiatives as part of the comprehensive CVE Digitalization Roadmap.

    In this role you will work in a diverse and dynamic team, collaborate with cross-functions and external service providers. With a wide exposure across organizational departments, you will operate as a business partner towards our internal customers and stakeholders. Your role will be centered around driving the development and implementation of specific tools, ensuring alignment with organizational needs, and optimizing workflows. Additionally, you’ll stay abreast of ground breaking data science and programming technologies to define and ensure project outcomes.

    • Strive for excellence in automation and workflow optimization using AI-driven solutions.
    • Use low/no-code platforms for quick development and deployment of digital solutions.
    • Integrate digital tools with existing systems and develop interactive dashboards for key business metrics.
    • Analyze business data to identify trends and insights, supporting business objectives.
    • Lead and manage digitalization projects, ensuring timely execution and successful completion using agile methodologies.
    • Align with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.



    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science) preferred. Equivalent experience or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP) considered.
    • Proven ability of 5-8 years in digitalization or technology-related projects
    • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Mendix, Tableau, MS Power BI) and programming languages (Python, R)
    • Proven track record in digital transformation, tool development, and implementation
    • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire change and influence partners
    • Fluent in professional English; additional languages like German or Spanish are a plus

    The Cost and Value Engineering (CVE) function is the driver of cost transparency and optimization for externally purchased material, components, and systems in the global Siemens Energy product portfolio.
