Dimension Inspector

Snapshot of your day

Your tasks will include dimensional checks and supervision of
dimensional checks on compressor parts (e.g. casings, casing heads and
internals). You clarify dimensional issues and tasks with our suppliers
throughout Europe and ensure the required quality of the parts. This includes
working with the supplier and, after consultation with the headquarter,
defining possible solutions. You are responsible for meeting Siemens Energy
requirements for each part.

How
you’ll make an impact

• Carry out and witness inspections (e.g. dimensional checks, surface quality, dimensional accuracy and other geometric characteristics), if necessary, in the presence of customers.

• Testing the interaction of individual components and assemblies to guarantee functionality.

• Record and log component markings for component traceability.

• Optimize test procedures.

• Carrying out statistical evaluations. Creating analyses and reports.

• Carry out evaluations according to specifications.
