We are seeking a visionary Director of Sales to lead our passionate sales team and drive our commercial success. As our Director of Sales, you will be instrumental in shaping our brands’ future, blending strategic vision with hands-on leadership to ensure continued commercial success.
What you’ll be doing as Director of Sales:
- Design, implement, and manage sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across the hotel portfolio.
- Identify and optimise revenue potential from various market segments, including corporate, leisure, groups, and events.
- Partner with the Commercial and Senior Leadership Teams to establish sales forecasts and revenue objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, ensuring their performance aligns with business goals.
- Supervise both direct and indirect reports, including key roles like Regional Directors of Sales and National Account Directors.
- Implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and business partners to drive growth.
- Oversee agreements to ensure profitability, improved performance, and strengthened partnerships.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to boost visibility and secure new business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to adjust strategies and seize new opportunities.

- Proven track record in leading sales operations, preferably within the luxury hotel or lifestyle hospitality sector.
- Expertise in managing regional, multi-site sales operations, with measurable success in revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of the UK hotel market, including corporate, leisure, and group sales.
- Strong ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing sales teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Skilled in creating and executing sales strategies aligned with business goals, using data-driven insights.
- Exceptional skills in fostering relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Capable of inspiring and managing diverse teams while thriving in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Demonstrable success in process improvements and driving change within multi-brand organizations.
- Strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market with the ability to respond to emerging trends and challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tools, with a meticulous approach to detail and high-level presentation skills.
