    Snapshot of Your Day

    As an EHS Professional (EHS), you will
    perform a key role to support the success and safety of our services and
    projects within the Grid Technologies Service Unit in Mexico and Central
    America. Besides, you will have a constant communication and functional
    relationship with our Latin American Management as first entry level and our
    Central Unit in Germany, to govern all EHS relevant topics. 


    How
    You’ll Make an Impact

    • By planning, following up and reporting several EHS
      KPI’s relevant to our business, as part of a Zero Harm Culture.
    • By implementing EHS measures and initiatives
      coordinated with central EHS department within Mexico, Latin America and
      Germany.
    • By training own personnel and contractors in local
      regulations such as STPS-DC3.
    • By advising on EHS requirements and permissions during
      project’s activities execution (e.g. loads lifting).
    • By providing EHS data and information on demand,
      mandatory for internal reports within Siemens Energy.
    • By supporting incidents’ investigations and performing
      Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of near misses, in order to ensure that work
      procedures are observed and followed as per company’s procedures, OHSA, EPA and
      customer’s policies; as well as country legislation and local norms related to
      the place, condition and timeframe in which the job will be done.
    • By communicating regular updates about injuries and
      diseases prevention through mitigation measures and assisting in Management, analysis
      and interpretation of EHS data and managing our local EHS tool named Enablon.

    What
    You Bring 

    • Travel
      availability, approx. 60% of time within Mexico, Central America and the
      Caribbean.Bachelor’s degree and >3 years of formal experience related to EHS
      activities.
    • Wide
      knowledge in EHS fields, including concepts, practices and procedures. It is
      also required to comprehend the relevant EHS legislation and norms mandatory
      for Mexico.
    • Proven
      knowledge in organizational practices and problems solving.
    • Proven
      knowledge in Root Cause Analysis and incidents investigation, as well as
      related methodology. The knowledge about Human Factors / Yield is an advantage.
    • Good
      English skills (speaking, reading and writing).
