Job Opportunity: Electrical Operative (Street Lighting)Location: Various locationsType: PermanentHours: Monday to FridayPay: £45,000- £52,000 PA + OT About the Role:Join our highways client as an Electrical Operative, focusing on street lighting projects. You’ll tackle a variety of tasks, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-standard installations.Weekly Tasks:

• Terminating electrical connections.
• Installing isolators and lanterns.
• Testing and certifying street furniture.
• Fault finding and surveys.
• Cable work and jointing.
• Working from MEWPs.
• Assisting with logistics and liaising with clients.
• Conducting Risk Assessments.
• Ensuring timely, budget-friendly installations.
• Documenting and resolving on-site issues.

About You:

• Comfortable with outdoor, physically demanding work.
• Experienced in electrical operations, street furniture experience preferred.
• Excellent communicator.
• Flexible for night shifts and travel.
• Committed to quality, safety, and deadlines.
• Willing to undergo relevant training.

Essential Qualifications:

• CSCS/CPCS, ECS cards.
• Street work IPAF and G39.
• City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Inspection and testing certification.
• IPAF certified.
