Your new company
A social housing provider based in Sheffield are looking for an electrician to join their team with an ASAP start.
This will initially be a temporary contract but could have the option to become permanent after 3 months.
The client will provide you with a van, uniform and some of the specialist technical equipment required, as well as an IT Kit.
Rate negotiable while a temporary assignment (PAYE or UMB only- No CIS)
If you would like to go on the book with them the perm salaries are usually between £31,000 & £35,000.
Your new role
Day to day repairs & responsive repairs to occupied social housing properties.
Will require fault finding, rewiring, testing & inspecting etc.
You will use the van provided to drive to various occupied properties around South Yorkshire (the van is to take home but for work use only)
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal set of qualifications would be:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installations (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 Testing & Inspection
Full UK Driving license
