    In the last 3 years there has been significant investment into the plant, spending over 300 million automating the DC you will be exposed to the most recent material handling equipment and robotics on the market.

    We are looking for a confident Shift Maintenance Manager who is looking to join a forward thinking business, leading a team of 10 multi skilled engineers, ranging from apprentices to senior engineers.

    As an Engineering Shift Manager you will be managing and developing your team to ensure that all breakdowns are completed efficiently to reduce downtime. You will be expected to imbed and drive the LEAN and continuous Improvement processes within the D.C.

    The role as a Engineering Shift Manager:

    • Hands on Proactive and Reactive Maintenance.
    • Responsible for overseeing 10 engineers on your team.
    • Assistance with design and implementation of a TPM system
    • Delegation of PPM together with asset management
    • Assistance with strategic planning
    • Staff management and development
    • Drive and imbed LEAN and Continuous Improvement processes

    Experience needed for this Engineering Shift Manager role?

    • Apprentice trained Multi- skilled Engineer.
    • HNC/ HND Qualified in Engineering Maintenance
    • Strong H&S background.
    • Experience of LEAN and Continuous Improvement
    • An advocate of change
    • Working in a similar management role or team leader role.
