    A Snapshot of Your Day 
    You will work within the Siemens Energy Environment & Sustainability team, supporting project delivery teams to contribute to the goals of achieving no harm to the environment, reducing the carbon impact of our solutions and having a positive impact on local communities. This will be achieved by inspiring and influencing others to see the benefit of working responsibly, understanding the legal framework, and showing how environmental management can enhance operational activities.
    We offer you a fixed-term contract limited to 24 month first.
    How You’ll Make an Impact 
    • Identify significant environmental impacts on and assist in the set-up of appropriate controls
    • Assist in reviewing and checking the effectiveness of the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS)
    • Develop and deliver training (e.g., training packages for critical environment & sustainability topics including toolbox talks, guidance notes & inductions)
    • Assist in the implementation of environmental campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives, by raising awareness and engaging employees
    • Support the EHS Teams in the investigation of accidents and incidents
    • Assist in the development of new tools for improved efficiency in managing environmental & sustainability issues
    • Analyses of environmental data and produce comprehensive reports
    • Present findings to the management team and other key stakeholders
    What You Bring
    • Study degree in engineering, business administration, economics or similar, preferred Graduate environmental/sustainability management (or willingness to achieve)
    • Understanding of the application of environmental legislation and sustainability protocols within a large and diverse business
    • Experience in project management and reporting
    • Strong forward planning, strategic thinking and prioritization skills
    • Ability to understand, interpret and communicate technical issues
    • Fluent in German and good English
    • Driving license class B (Germany)
