    As a Short Course Tutor, you’ll draw on your specialist expertise to deliver high quality and structured learning sessions across a range of subjects. You will plan and deliver courses that inspire and equip students with the skills they need to succeed in their chosen fields. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the UAL Short Courses Team, ensuring course content aligns with industry standards and students’ learning objectives. Whether you are teaching in person or remotely, your role will include preparing teaching resources, guiding student presentations, and ensuring that every session is productive and engaging.

    About you

    We are looking for practising professionals at the forefront of their industries who are eager to share their expertise with students. If you specialise in any of the following areas, we would love to hear from you:

    • Fashion Design
    • Fashion Contour Design
    • Jewellery Design
    • Jewellery Illustration
    • Jewellery Business

    You’ll have experience in teaching or training and a strong understanding of your industry. You’ll also need to be confident in delivering inclusive learning sessions to a diverse range of students, fostering a creative and supportive learning environment where everyone can thrive.

    We are UAL Short Courses

    UAL Short Courses (UALSC) is part of the University’s department of Academic Enterprise which leads the University of the Arts London’s commercial educational operations. There are 100 staff and 1,500 hourly paid staff in Academic Enterprise, which is integral to the University’s long-term development.

    Its mission is to increase the amount of income generated by the University from non-core teaching and research activities. It includes several successful existing business operations including UAL Short Courses Ltd, AE International (English Language preparation and Study Abroad) as well as UALAT.
