Specialist Drug & Alcohol Support Worker

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE / ABUSE

Location:Bath
Contract:Full-time (37.5 hrs) Fixed-term until July 2025
Salary: £25,500 per year
Additional: Participation in an on-call, out-of-hours rota
Requirements: Valid driving licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance required
Note:This role is female only

Responsibilities:

Refer clients experiencing substance misuse difficulties to DHI for treatment and support
Complete needs/risk assessments for clients, leading to the delivery of tailored support plans

Requirements:

Experience working with people with complex needs (e.g., substance misuse, mental health)

Understanding of the nature of domestic violence and its impact on survivors and their children (desirable)
