    Siemens Energy is a leading OEM in the Power Generation Industry. We are recruiting for our Field Service organization that provides maintenance services to our customers located in Korea, the Asia Pacific region and globally. Power generation equipment is essential national infrastructure, and we have long term contracts with our customers stretching to 20 years. We provide secure full-time employment for our maintenance teams so that we can deliver excellent services to our customers over the long term. We invest in training and development of our personnel so that we can continue to own the industry as a Best Choice provider of maintenance services.

    We are looking for motivated graduates to join our team to help us deliver maintenance outage work at sites in Korea, the AP region and globally.

    Your Profile:

    • A recent graduate of a technical university, with an applied degree related with an Engineering field of study.
    • Interested to work hands on in an industrial work environment as part of a team of Field Service Engineers and Technicians performing maintenance work on Gas & Steam Turbines.
    • Be able to demonstrate proficiency with precision equipment, used during practical training as part of your school courses (if applicable).
    • Have a good proficiency in English language. Able to read and comprehend technical instructions provided in drawings, procedures and datasheets. Able to communicate verbally in person with Siemens Energy personnel of different nationalities, via Teams meetings or calls with Engineering support located in our HQ locations.
    • Willingness to travel and work away from home. We expect our personnel to average 200 days a year working on customer sites both within Korea and internationally that require you to stay in hotels.
    • Global attitude, willing to work in an international environment with collaborators from around the world.
    • Resident and legally permitted to work in Korea. As this is a Field Based assignment, we do not require that you live close to our offices but will travel from your home location to our outage sites or SE facilities as the need arises for work assignments.
    • Able to perform tasks that require mobility in difficult working environments, such as construction sites and power plants.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership of tasks and contribute to performing all work activities in accordance with our safety and quality processes to ensure consistent delivery without incidents, every day.
    • Fully engage with our Engineer In Training (EIT) program to develop your skills across our Products and Services.
    • Develop expertise with our Engineering systems and ability to retrieve, understand and communicate technical requirements to our personnel.
    • Collect data from our FS personnel, verify that data meets our assembly requirements as this is recorded to verify that design requirements are met so that assembly may continue.
    • Initiate technical queries to our Engineering team to acquire clarification on any issues identified during outage activities.
    • Develop project management skills to be able to understand the overall contract between SE and our customer, understand the project schedule and critical path of an outage to be able to prioritize work activities with the team.
    • Develop technical expertise with our Products that will allow you to work on our Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine or Generators. Specialist training may be provided for your career development.
    • Perform inspections of Power Generation equipment as advised by Engineering to detail as found condition, record measurements and photographs of findings and submit technical findings to Engineering for resolution. Compile reports of work performed by the Field Service team.
    • Perform Shift work that may include dayshift, night-shift, weekend and holiday work. Overtime work is paid and maximum working hours policy aligns with Korean Labor Law.
    • Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
    • Willingness to learn and challenge our processes, so we can continuously develop and improve our services.
