Job Title: Finance Manager (Part-Time, Public Sector)
Location: Central Oxford
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (pro rata)
Working Hours: 2.5 days per week

Job Description:
Hays has partnered up with a very well established Education Sector client to support finding the latest addition to their team, a Finance Manager.
This role is perfect for someone looking to balance work with other commitments while contributing to a dynamic and growing public sector organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage budgets.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Financial Planning:
Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies.
Provide financial advice and support to senior management.
Audit and Compliance:
Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial legislation.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Provide training and support to junior finance staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
