    We’re now seeking a Financial Reporting Manager
    – someone to be responsible for the coordination and completion of the monthly management accounts, annual budgets, statutory accounts, regulatory and other financial returns. You’ll manage the Finance Business Partner Team, ensuring the team consistently deliver high performance, ensuring they have clarity of direction, purpose, and developed to meet potential and individual aspirations.

    Ensuring all statutory financial obligations are met and are compliant with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), you’ll ensure all areas of the business are financially well managed as a result of receiving regular financial updates and being supported and challenged on performance against budget.

    With proven experience of delivering accurate management accounts, annual financial accounts and regulatory returns with insightful analysis, you’ll have strong knowledge of social housing regulation and compliance, or similar regulated environment. We’d like you to have experience of managing finance teams in a housing setting with excellent experience of effective leadership, performance management and communication skills.

    We’d also like you to

    • Have experience of successfully managing complex projects, working within tight deadlines and budget, whilst promoting stakeholder involvement at all levels.
    • Act as an ambassador for the company – encouraging co-operation and collaboration, readily sharing ideas and information
    • Hold a CCAB qualification (or equivalent) or finalist level accountant
    • Take ownership of problems and work positively with others to resolve them, ensuring that organisational targets and objectives are met.
