About the Role: Join our progressive and supportive team as an FP&A Analyst. You will be responsible for performing various FP&A activities, supporting Finance Business Partners, Divisional FDs, and the broader Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to diversify your skills within a large, complex organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and providing accurate and timely output with additional commentary and insights.
Develop and run reports, models, and approaches with the support of senior FP&A team members.
Analyse financial information to ensure accuracy, investigate anomalies, and explain variances against the budget.
Identify data quality issues and collaborate with the data team to resolve them, providing analysis and insight.
Propose and implement improvements to finance activities, processes, and procedures.
Work Environment: We operate a hybrid working policy requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in our Oxford office.
About You: We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn and commercially savvy. To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential:
Studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) with study support provided.
Experience in a finance environment.
Initiative and drive to implement new ideas.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to continual personal and professional development.
Proficiency in Excel with a willingness to develop further.
Desirable:
Experience in a commercial finance environment.
Knowledge of Power BI.
Problem-solving and analysis skills.
