Freight Coordinator – remote after training – £35-39k
Your new company
A leading global logistics company in Stockley Park is seeking a Freight Coordinator to join the team. Offering remote work after training (1-3 months), you will be the first point of contact for urgent shipping requests. Working hours are 6.30pm to 3am, Monday to Friday.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for the full customer journey from order to aftersales, communicating updates to customers throughout the process. Key duties include:
- Responding to customer queries – predominantly via email but occasional calls
- Working to SLA’s and tight deadlines – acknowledging customer requests within 15 mins
- Handling global shipping requests, taking booking details, arranging collections/deliveries
- Establishing the best transport solution (Express, Hand Carry or Road) and advising customer of associated costs
- Emailing customs team to complete relevant checks
- Tracing and tracking of all shipments and keeping customers up to date proactively (which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolutions, etc)
What you’ll need to succeed
You’ll have previous experience in freight/shipping/3PL and have excellent customer service and communication skills. You should be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
What you’ll get in return
You’ll receive an annual salary of £35-39k, 26 + 8 days holiday, enhanced company pension, medical cover and free parking on site when required.
