General Operative

Overview

We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. Initially, you will join as a General Operative providing high quality products to major supermarkets and food service customers. You will be supported through a comprehensive training programme, allowing you to carry out interesting and varied tasks within our well established, skilled teams.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with room standards in Quality, Safety and Process.

• Contribution to the achievement of production performance targets.

• Supporting the management of the shift.

• Delivering on Company Mission, Vision & Values.

Shift Patterns available

Shift A: Sunday 6am – 6pm, Monday 6am – 6.30pm, Tuesday – Thursday 3pm – 11pm

Shift B: Tuesday – Thursday 6am – 2pm, Friday 6am – 6.30pm, Saturday 6am – 6pm

6am – 6pm 4 on 4 off

Qualifications

• Be Attentive to detail in all aspects of the role.

• Be health and safety conscious

• Display patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team or by yourself.

• To have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.

• Previous experience in the food industry is desirable but not essential.
