A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be leading over 40 Engineering team member from
both Central and Distributed business within the Gas Services Business across
Asia Pacific region. This role will be reporting directly to the AP Head of
Service Operations.
How
You’ll Make an Impact
- Accountable for the Engineering KPI’s, which include
technical response time, cost out, utilization & localization targets.
- Foster and continue to drive a zero harm safety and
quality culture across the Engineering Team. - Promote, develop, and implement plans for improving
the Engineering capabilities through prioritize the most critical
competency requirements and set targets for qualifications. Specific focus
will be on weatherproofing our technical support capabilities on the HL
and SGT-800 fleet. - Promote and implement cross utilization and cross
training of Engineering resources across the Region. - Building strong business relations with customers,
internal partners, and subcontractors - Development of succession plan for critical positions
within the Engineering Team to ensure long term business continuity. - Member of the Engineering Global Councils on both
Central and Distributed. Share and implement best practices as a Council
and develop strategies for the future of Engineering. - Digitalization & process improvement projects that
deliver benefits to the Engineering functions.
What
You Bring
- A sound Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years management experience with a consistent track
record is preferred. - Solid understanding and experience of working in Asia Pacific Region
would be advantageous. - Good knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines and generators on
Central and Distributed. - Effective leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of financials and business models
- Customer orientation and strong in strategic thinking
- EHS focus
- Flexible in travel arrangement (approximately 30% of traveling)

Our Gas Services
division offers Low-emission power generation through service and
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines
under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities
through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
