Prospectus is excited to be working with an internationally renowned transition to work programme, to appoint a Head of Philanthropy to lead the develop and implement the strategy to secure income from high-net-worth individuals. This organisation is committed to transforming the lives of young adults with a learning disability, autism spectrum condition, or both.
This is ideally a full-time position, although flexible working patterns will be considered. The salary will be between £50,000 – £55,000 p.a. (depending on experience) and this is a fully remote opportunity (UK based), but with travel expected to London for meetings and events. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
As the Head of Philanthropy and as part of the Senior Leadership Team, will support the Director of Development in implementing the fundraising strategy. To date the strategy has focused on securing a small number of larger gifts from Trusts and Foundations. They are now seeking to evolving the strategy to include growing income from high-net-worth individuals, companies, and individual giving. You will work with a highly driven Board of Trustees, and together with the Development team, work towards an ambitious business plan and targets for growth.
To be successful, you will have experience of developing and delivering fundraising strategies, specifically focused on fundraising from high-net-worth individuals. You will have experience of leading one or more fundraisers and you’ll be driven to achieve your goals. Crucially, we’re looking for you to have an interest in enabling young adults with a learning disability to lead healthier, happier, and more independent lives.
