About the Role
Our Gas Services Sales team is looking for a new “Lead of Gas
Service, Sales Central, for the subregion RS3” (GS ME SC RS3)
, being
responsible for driving and fostering the growth of our regional gas
service business. In this role, you will report to our Head of Sales, Gas
Services, Sales Central Middle East.
Our head of RS3 sales team is responsible for growing our large rotating
equipment service business in line with our profitability and risk
expectations. As part of the GS ME Sales Central leadership Team, you will work
on all utilities / IPP business opportunities in your sub-region.
With your market and customer knowledge you will support the regional sales
teams to win projects and advise the organization on how to develop the gas
services business. The region needs more electricity which is reliable,
affordable and sustainable. Solutions must evolve to meet society’s
ever-growing demand for energy. Illuminating new possibilities, ensuring energy
supply and striving into a sustainable future are key elements of our business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Leading our RS3
(Iraq + other countries) subregion team business for Gas Services, Sales, you will position
Siemens Energy as the best service provider in the Central Generation market. - Analysing
regional market dynamics, changing industrial trends, regulations, customer
needs/pricing and competitors - Developing and
executing a subregion sales strategy, contributing with deep market knowledge - Ensuring the
alignment and implementation of the respective subregional, regional, and
global strategies by identifying business needs, market potential and
innovative business models for long-term success - Engaging with
internal stakeholders across the business to meet current and emerging
challenges of our customers as well as fostering a healthy project pipeline to
meet annual OE targets. - As a front face for Siemens Energy, you
will develop strong relationships with clients, identify business
opportunities, enhance market transparency and increase customer satisfaction. - As the subregional lead and managing a
team of sales account managers for several customers you will understand
decision makers at all levels of the customers’ organization - Consulting your
team and our regional sales management with your expertise, your customer
knowledge and defining winning strategies for new opportunities in the market - Acting as
advisor and coach for your sales and proposals team – guiding them during the
project development phase and in negotiations with our customers - Maintain high
quality of proposals in line with company business guidelines and procedures. - Proactively
fostering cross-country collaboration to achieve the overall business targets. - Have a self-motivated drive to enhance
customer satisfaction, keep your team motivated and to reach the sales targets. - You will support your team to manage
sales activities between customers, various Siemens Energy functions (Product
Competence Centers, Service engineering, Global Service Operations), regional
hub and local project management, Operation and Field service and digitalization
and I&C department (CD) teams. - You will support and drive the growth
of digital and decarbonization offerings applicable to rotating equipment. - In all your dealings you will work in
line with the Company’s compliance and business conduct policies
What you bring
- Strong track
record of demonstrated leadership and strategic delivery in a global company as
well as good knowledge of the energy market. - Highly
experienced sales professional with deep knowledge in the utilities segment as
well as experience with Iraq customer landscape and open market service
business offerings. - You should have minimum 8 or more years
of relevant sales experience in servicing rotating equipment (deep knowledge in
gas turbines & compressors with basic knowledge in steam turbines &
generators), preferably in the utilities market. - Strong
problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and presentation
skills - Strong track
record in opportunity development incl. winning strategy, negotiation guidance
and with experience in diverse business environments. - Strong
analytical skills, able to identify business opportunities and develop them
into value added solutions. - Knowledge of
the current state of climate change and respective energy policies as well as
Proven capabilities in driving change and building sustainable team - Experience in
an intercultural environment with cross-regional working teams and have demonstrated
ability to work as a team player. - Have a university degree in an
engineering discipline, preferably in mechanical engineering. - Preferably leadership
experience and proven track record in people management
