People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.

Shifts:• Monday to Friday – Start times between 06:00 and 16:00

Pay Rate:• £14.80 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:• Operating and driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before transport• Adhering to traffic laws and company driving standards• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly• No heavy lifting involved

Essential Skills:• Valid UK Category C1 Licence• Minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsements• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good level of spoken and written English• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude• Good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience:• Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous

Training:• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
