Overview of Role:
We are recruiting for a “live in” House Porter with shared responsibility for security, to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who strive to exceed customers’ expectations. You will need a hands-on approach and enjoy being part of our Estates Team.
The successful candidate will be confident in dealing and communicating with customers and visitors. You will be able to liaise and communicate with internal staff as well as external suppliers during events to ensure their smooth running and that customer expectations are met.
This is a role that will require a good level of fitness as you will support the set-up of functions across the site from weddings to private dining functions. The successful applicant will support the Hotel operation from helping guests with luggage to checking guests in and offering advice on the local area. During the winter months you will support and contribute with the maintenance team with the general upkeep of the building and estate.
