    A Snapshot of Your Day

    In this role, you will be responsible for processing
    closing-related topics and ensuring they stay in sync with Siemens Energy’s
    financial reporting guidelines. You will spend ample time working with SAP and
    other IT tools, reviewing key balance sheet positions, and ensuring alignment
    with the respective businesses. Additionally, you will gain a deep
    understanding of the company and its various businesses, resolving queries on
    key accounting matters or system-related issues. Coordination with the Head of
    Accounting, Head of Business Finance, and the Hub Accounting team on relevant
    matters is essential. You will also chip in effectively to identifying steps
    for elimination, simplification, and automation. Moreover, you will have the
    opportunity to have fun, develop, and cultivate new professional relationships

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Serve as the effective
      Business Partner for the assigned countries, ensuring timely and accurate
      month/quarter-end closing and reporting. Additionally, handle accounting
      queries for the assigned countries.
    • Act as a trusted Business
      Partner for Business Areas, focusing on providing guidance on complex
      accounting topics, timely remediation of issues, and effective monitoring
      of topics.
    • Supervise the accounting
      function/transactions, ensuring adherence to Siemens Energy Financial
      Reporting Guidelines (SE FRG).
    • Ensure transactions are
      recorded in accordance with the Siemens Energy International Chart of
      Accounts.
    • Monitor and manage key
      Balance Sheet positions for assigned Middle East entities, such as
      Unallocated AR, Advances to Suppliers, Retention, Advances from Customers,
      and Retention. Independently drive the Balance Sheet Review process for
      assigned country businesses and provide remediation and solutions.
    • Resolve reporting and
      closing queries qualitatively and develop controls to prevent recurring
      issues.
    • Support the quarterly and
      yearly external audit process by providing timely information and
      resolving auditor queries qualitatively (if applicable for the assigned
      country).
    • Ensure the month-end
      closing process is performed smoothly in coordination with the Accounting
      Services team, and ESPRIT reporting is completed with high quality and
      within defined timelines. At times, engage in discussion with distributed
      team for closing related matters.
    • Ensure timely and
      qualitative reporting of Financial Disclosures, such as ADSTAR.
    • Chip in to process
      improvement initiatives and drive their successful implementation.
    • Be ‘digital-ready,’
      adopting digital ways of working and chipping in to our vision to
      Simplify.

    What You Bring

    • 5-7 years of proven
      experience in accounting or a commercial background, ideally from a
      similar MNC organization.
    • Solid analytical skills
      with an accounting background; Chartered Accountant preferred.
    • Commercial, Finance,
      Accounting, or BA degree or equivalent experience from a reputable
      university or college is beneficial.
    • A mentality to inspire
      change and adopt digitalization.
    • SAP working experience is
      a requirement; knowledge and practical experience with S4Hana preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal
      skills; fluent in English, preferably in a regional function.
    • Great teammate with
      experience working in a multicultural environment.
    • Knowledge of Siemens
      Energy reporting process and Financial Reporting Guidelines is
      advantageous.
